These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to stays taking place during the 2027 season. For stays in 2026, previous Terms and Conditions of Sale remain applicable and are available upon request from the reservations department.
By accepting these terms and conditions, I acknowledge that my stay takes place in a natural setting, which comes with inherent conditions: variable weather, the presence of insects, birds, and mammals near the cabins, and the possibility of encountering them indoors as well.
Your stay will take place in the heart of the Salagnac estate. We ask that you respect the peace and quiet of the site while walking around the grounds. Upon arrival, we will provide you with a map showing access routes and pedestrian paths on the estate. Thank you for your cooperation.
During your stay, we ask that you respect all safety instructions as explained to you by our reception team.

I – Cabin stays
1. Reservation
You can make your reservation:

No right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency.
2. Payments
Bookings must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the arrival date. For bookings made less than 15 days before the arrival date, immediate payment by credit card or bank transfer is required, accompanied by proof of payment.
a) Payment by credit card
For bookings made through our online booking system with secure credit card payment, the full amount of the stay will be charged and your booking will be confirmed.
b) Payment by other methods
For bookings paid by check, holiday vouchers, or bank transfer, the reservation is held for a maximum of 15 days pending payment, provided this period does not exceed the 7-day deadline before arrival. Receipt of payment within the allotted time will confirm the booking. Otherwise, the reservation option may be released.
3. Accepted payment methods
- Credit card: Mastercard and Visa.
- Cash: to be paid on-site at the estate reception.

- Bank or postal cheque, made payable to Cabanes de Salagnac (French accounts only).
- ANCV Holiday Vouchers (paper and digital). For information, we cannot refund holiday vouchers for legal reasons. If our general terms and conditions of sale allow, we may, however, postpone your stay to another date.
- Coucoo Cabane gift vouchers, under the conditions provided in Part II of these GTC.
4. Modification or cancellation of your booking
When booking a stay at the Classic Rate, you have the option to add a Zen Option for €25 per booking. This option provides more favorable modification and cancellation conditions than those of the Classic Rate, within the limits and according to the terms detailed below.
When a stay has been booked using a gift voucher, the Zen Option only allows for the modification conditions provided for this option to be applied. It does not allow for a cash refund of the gift voucher.
Any request for modification or cancellation must be sent in writing to reservation@cabanesdesalagnac.com. The booking number must be indicated in the subject line of the email.
In the event of personal circumstances preventing the customer from attending, particularly for health, family, or professional reasons, the conditions set out below remain applicable. We recommend that the customer take out cancellation insurance suited to their situation if they wish.
a) Cancellation before your stay, by yourself
Additional services booked in addition to the accommodation may be subject to specific cancellation conditions when specified in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale or at the time of booking. These specific conditions prevail for the services concerned.
b) Modification before your stay, by yourself

In the event of a change to a stay of a higher value, the price difference remains the responsibility of the customer.
In the event of a change to a stay of a lower value, the difference remains the property of Les Cabanes de Salagnac, regardless of the rate chosen, but it may be used to purchase one or more additional services depending on the amount.
A single booking may only be rescheduled once, regardless of the rate chosen. Any stay that has been rescheduled at the customer's request cannot be rescheduled again or cancelled for a refund, subject to applicable legal provisions.
c) Modification or cancellation of stay by Les Cabanes de Salagnac BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
In the event of an orange weather alert involving external events beyond our control, such as bad weather, storms, or thunderstorms, management reserves the right to cancel your stay for safety reasons. In such cases, we will offer to reschedule your treehouse stay to a later date within 12 months of the originally scheduled date. If you have already left your home, we will offer to rehouse you in another type of accommodation at no extra cost. Only in this specific case will you be entitled to a 50% discount on a future equivalent treehouse stay within 12 months of the originally scheduled date.
If none of these offers are satisfactory to you, all sums paid will be refunded; no further compensation may be claimed.
If your booking is made using a gift voucher, the provisions set out in Part II of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall apply.
d) Modification or cancellation of stay by Les Cabanes de Salagnac ON-SITE
In the event of an Orange weather alert, with announced external events beyond our control, such as bad weather, storms, or thunderstorms, management reserves the right to cancel your night in the cabin for safety reasons. Rehousing in another type of accommodation will be offered to you subject to availability and at no extra cost. In this case only, you will receive a 50% discount on a future equivalent cabin stay within 12 months of the initially scheduled date of your stay. No other compensation may be claimed. Only if we have no rehousing solution available will the full amount paid be refunded or a date change offered, within 12 months of the initially scheduled date of your stay.
e) Modification or cancellation of stay by you ON-SITE
In the event that you refuse to access your cabin (due to fear, vertigo, etc.), no compensation, discount, or refund can be claimed.
5. Security Deposit
Please be advised that due to a significant number of thefts in the cabins over recent seasons, we have implemented a security deposit system. Upon your arrival, a credit card pre-authorization of €150 will be required.
This pre-authorization does not result in an immediate debit from your account and will be automatically cancelled at the end of your stay, unless there is damage or an unpaid balance.
We reserve the right, however, to charge all or part of this security deposit in the following cases:
- discovery of damage or breakage in the accommodation,
- loss of items or furniture,
- services consumed on-site and not paid for at the time of departure.
In the event of a charge, the amount deducted will correspond to:
- or the actual cost of repair or replacement, upon presentation of supporting documents (invoices, photos),
- either the exact amount of the unpaid services.
The credit card pre-authorization is valid for the duration set by our payment provider (generally 7 to 30 days). If damage or an unpaid balance is discovered after this period, we will contact you to obtain your agreement for payment.
Please note that some of the items in the cabins are available for purchase in our reception shop if you would like to take home a souvenir of your stay. For those that are not for sale, we would be happy to tell you where you can find them whenever possible. Thank you for your understanding.
6. Capacity
The number of people mentioned (including children) per cabin in our rates corresponds to the maximum occupancy allowed based on the available equipment. This limit cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. If the number of people in the chosen accommodation exceeds the allowed limit, access may be denied.
7. Rates
Our rates include all taxes. Only the rates shown on our website are valid. These rates vary by season. A tourist tax may be added to this price.
8. Children
The age of children is calculated based on their date of birth and the start date of the stay. An official document proving the children's age may be requested at the beginning of the stay.
9. Specific conditions
Some cabins have specific access constraints, particularly related to their height, the presence of a ladder, or the physical effort required to reach them. Access to cabins equipped with a ladder is not recommended for pregnant women or individuals whose health or physical condition may be incompatible with this type of access. In case of doubt, the client is invited to inquire before booking.
10. Pets
The cabins can accommodate one dog for a supplement of €25 per night, payable on-site. In the event of damage during the stay, additional fees may be deducted from the security deposit. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the estate.
11. Valuables
Clients are advised not to leave valuables unattended in their cabin. The liability of Les Cabanes de Salagnac in the event of theft or damage is governed by the applicable legal provisions.
12. Alcohol and cigarette consumption
It is strictly forbidden to be in a state of intoxication in the cabins or on the estate. Smoking is prohibited inside the cabins. All our cabins are equipped with terraces where you are permitted to smoke, provided that no cigarette butts are left in nature.
13. Massage services
For our massage services, we work with independent massage therapists who are not part of our estate. It is therefore mandatory to pay at least 50% of these services at the time of booking to confirm your massage and your practitioner. In the event of cancellation less than 7 days before the date of your stay, we will retain 50% of the cost of the massage service.
14. External service providers
It is not permitted to bring in external service providers to your cabin or onto the estate (photographers, decorators, event agencies, etc.) without authorization from the Les Cabanes de Salagnac team. If you require an external service provider, you may contact us at reservation@cabanesdesalagnac.com and we can review your request together.
15. Complaints
The client is invited to submit any complaints regarding their stay as soon as possible, and if possible, within 30 days following the end of the stay, either by email to reservation@cabanesdesalagnac.com or by mail to the address below, to ensure it is processed under the best conditions:

16. Mediation and dispute resolution
In the event of a complaint, the client is invited to contact Les Cabanes de Salagnac beforehand to seek an amicable solution.
If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the consumer may refer the matter to one of the territorially competent courts in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code and the Code of Civil Procedure.
II – Gift vouchers
Gift voucher = a specific service. For example, 1 night in a duo spa cabin with breakfast basket included for 2 people.
Gift certificate = a monetary value in euros. For example, a €200 gift certificate.
1. Purchasing a gift voucher
a) Validity of gift vouchers
Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years. When used at Les Cabanes de Salagnac for the service corresponding to the purchased gift voucher, no price difference due to our rate increases will be requested during its validity period. If used at another Coucoo Cabanes location or for a service different from or superior to the one initially purchased, an additional payment may be required.
As our cabins are very popular on weekends, we advise you to tell the gift voucher recipient to book their cabin between 6 months and 1 year before their intended stay date.
b) Right of withdrawal for a gift voucher
A 14-day period following the date of your gift voucher order is granted regardless of the payment method, provided the gift voucher has not already been used to book a stay. Beyond these 14 days, no refund will be possible.
2. Booking with a gift voucher
Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years. When used at Les Cabanes de Salagnac for the service corresponding to the purchased gift voucher, no price difference due to our rate increases will be requested during its validity period. If used at another Coucoo Cabanes location or for a service different from or superior to the one initially purchased, an additional payment may be required.
When booking their stay, the gift voucher recipient may choose to add the Zen Option for €25, just as with a standard booking. In this case, it only allows for the modification conditions provided (see I – 4.b). It does not allow for a cash refund of the gift voucher.
a) Cancellation before your stay:
Our gift vouchers cannot be cancelled or refunded, including in the event of personal issues (health, family, professional) or any other circumstances beyond our control. The recipient retains the option to change the date of their stay according to the terms described below. We recommend that they purchase cancellation insurance suited to their situation if they wish.
b) Modification before your stay:
The same conditions as for a standard booking apply, depending on whether or not the Zen Option was added to the booking, while respecting the validity date of the gift voucher (see II – 1.a).
c) Modification or cancellation of your stay by Les Cabanes de Salagnac BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
The same conditions as for a standard booking apply (excluding refunds), while respecting the validity date of your gift voucher (see II – 1.a).
d) Modification or cancellation of your stay ON-SITE by Les Cabanes de Salagnac
The same conditions as for a standard booking apply (excluding refunds), while respecting the validity date of your gift voucher (see II – 1.a).
e) Modification or cancellation of your stay ON-SITE by you
The same conditions as for a standard booking apply, provided you adhere to the validity date of your gift voucher (see II – 1.a).
3. Purchasing and booking with a gift voucher
Gift vouchers are subject to the same terms of sale and use as gift certificates. They are valid for 3 years and can be used at all Coucoo Cabanes locations, but they are non-cancellable and non-refundable after the 14-day cooling-off period.
If the cost of the stay is less than the value of the gift voucher, the remaining balance can be used for another booking, provided it is within the original validity period of the gift voucher. If the cost of the stay exceeds the value available on the gift voucher, the recipient must pay the difference using one of the accepted payment methods.
